  • Sincavage's make history at 2017 Giants Despair Hill Climb

The Corvette Club of NEPA has two members who recently competed in the Giants Despair Hill Climb this past weekend. Steve Sincavage finished 4th overall with a time of 44.153 just 4.912 seconds away from the 1st place finisher. The top three cars were modified Formula 1 type cars. Steve and Mary piloted his Racing Yellow 2017 Chevrolet Corvette ZO6 nicknamed " The Punisher ". Steve said the car is a rocket ship on wheels,  an amazing feat of engineering and he can't wait until next year to run the hill again.

Mary has competed in the event for 7 years credits her husband for teaching her how to conquer the hill. Mary said what kind of a man would let their wife drive his brand new ZO6 Corvette up Giants Despair Hill at over a 100 mph.

Mary Sincavage made history as she clocked in with a best time of 45.775 to finish 10th overall in the two day event. Mary's time is believed to be the first top-ten finish by a woman in the event's recent history.
